Our 2020 Black is Beautiful event highlighted the beauty of Black people and Black culture. Leading up to the event, community artists came to one of our houses where we painted 8ft by 4ft boards showcasing Black excellence. We also had booths to educate people on current issues and common-sense safety laws and accountability measures in our communities and schools.
